Read trend structure before you touch indicators
Why swing points and range boundaries should lead every technical study.
Many beginners open a chart and flood it with oscillators. Structure first keeps the story readable: is price making higher highs, compressing in a range, or breaking with conviction?
Mark the last clear swing high and low. Draw the range that contains the recent chop. Only then ask whether momentum agrees.
